Our fundraising initiative, Friends of the Bloody Sunday Trust, was launched on 15 June 2015 at the city's Guildhall by Mayor Elisha McCallion. This is an ongoing initiative, so please spread the word and help us develop Museum of Free Derry to its fullest potential.
Why does the Trust need friends?
In order to develop the work of the Trust and the Museum, we need additional funding. At a time of Government cutbacks, it is no longer possible to rely on funding from Government sources. Increasingly, the Trust needs to raise its own money in order to implement its programmes and that is where YOU come in . . .
We hope that supporters from far and wide will consider signing up to help support the work of the Trust and help safeguard the future of Museum of Free Derry.
If you would like to help the Trust by donating a minimum of £10 and becoming a friend, please get in touch. We would love to hear from you.
All Friends of the Bloody Sunday Trust will be sent a regular electronic newsletter, keeping you up to date with news and developments as we embark on a significant new era for the Museum of Free Derry.
Thanks to all who have supported us, past and present.
